Tom Begley, AP 284
President
Tom is a 1993 graduate from WVU with a degree in Political Science. He pledged Pi Kappa Phi in the fall of 1989 and held several leadership positions including Warden, Vice Archon, IFC Secretary, IFC Executive VP, and IFC President. He was also awarded an Administrative Internship at National Headquarters in Charlotte in the summerof 1992. Tom is a Vice President and Client Manager with Bank of America’s Premier Banking & Investments division. Tom is a Certified Financial Planner, having earned this designation in May of 2006. Since graduating, Tom has built a career in the financial services industry. He spent 5 years working for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. as an employee benefits consultant, 3 years at Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor, spent some time with Hartford Financial working as a financial planning consultant. Tom grew up in Wayne, NJ and currently resides in Nashville, TN with his wife Michelle and two sons Patrick and Sean.

Bob Laughner, AP 68
Vice President/Communications Officer
Bob is a 1980 graduate from WVU with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He was one of the original re-chartering members of Alpha Rho in 1978. While with Alpha Rho at WVU, Bob held the positions of Social Chairman, Secretary, and Archon. Also, he was very privileged to attend the Pi Kappa Phi 75th Supreme Chapter in Charleston in 1979. Bob has worked in the oil and gas industry for almost 25 years, first with Cabot Oil & Gas Corp, and then he spent eighteen years with Equitable Production Company. In August 2004, Bob joined Daugherty Petroleum, Inc., in Lexington, Ky, where his current position is Vice President – Engineering. Bob also obtained an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2000. At present, he resides in Richmond, Ky with his wife, Linda. He has one daughter, Lindsey, who is a first year law student at Stetson University School of Law in St Petersburg, Fla.

Tim Povenski , AP 503
Treasurer
Tim is a 2000 graduate of East Palestine High School in East Palestine, OH and a May 2004 graduate of WVU where he received his BA in Communication Studies. Tim became was introduced to Pi Kappa Phi through brother Matt Dames, AP 499. After his associate member period in spring '01, Tim continued on to become Warden, House Director, and Archon. Tim lived in the fraternity house for 3 years. Since graduation Tim has worked for Racer Productions, based in Morgantown, Buckeye Linen Service, based in Columbus, Ohio and currently lives in Morgantown and works at the WVU Health Sciences Center.

John George, AP 385
Secretary
A 1993 graduate of Frankfort High School in Mineral County, West Virginia, John continued his education at WVU attaining two Bachelor's degrees in 1998-one in Physical Education-Sports Management and one in Business Administration-Marketing. During his time as an undergraduate with Alpha Rho, John held the positions of Archon ('97-'98), Treasurer ('96-'97) and Secretary ('95-'96). He was also involved in the WVU Marketing Club, the Sports Management Club, the Order of Omega, and the Interfraternity Council (IFC). Currently, John is the Chapter Advisor of Delta Lambda Chapter at UNC Charlotte and has been working with the Charlotte 49ers Athletic Department at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte holding the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations.
